Falcone grand pianos were introduced in 1982, quickly becoming the premiere piano of the decade. These wonderful custom manufactured pianos made in Massachusetts took the world by storm turning out some of the most acclaimed pianos during this time. Made in three sizes - 6'1", 7'4", and 9' - and had some unique features, including a soundboard calibrator in the treble area to regulate the tension in the treble range of the soundboard, bringing a degree of tonal control that Steinway & Sons did not possess.
Several hundred pianos were produced between 1980 and 1994, when the company was purchased, and eventually morphed into the rebirth of Mason & Hamlin.
This piano has a flawless soundboard, original ivory keys, new strings, and is completely detailed.
